All Saints' Day Costumes

All Saint's Day is one of the kids' favorite holidays, with a lot of imagination, preparation, and creativity poured into their costumes every year. Along with the costumes, they memorize facts about their saints to call out as clues for the other children to try guess their saints during the yearly party at our church. Peg Dolls: A Project Update

I'm thankful again for another rainy day that will hopefully provide me with extra opportunities to knock some projects out. Everyone is still sleeping, so I have time to form a plan of attack!

This guy followed me out of bed this morning a bit too early. 

One project I will not be done with for quite a while is the Peg Doll project. When I catch up on the orders I have for them I plan to make extra to add to my Etsy shop. When? Perhaps I should have used if?! This would go so much faster if little guys weren't so helpful! Liam loves painting and ends up decorating almost-finished dolls. I found out the hard way that these add-ons can be painted over, but once the sealant is sprayed on it will pull the darker paint through the lighter paint, making quite a mess.

And finally, I made a parish priest for my boys so they could play Mass with the little altar we ordered from Mother of Our Savior Company. (Finding it in stock is a hit-and-miss ordeal.) I chose red for Father's vestments so that he would match the priest in Aidan's missal.
