Goodbye Little Gray

Walls and floors are scrubbed, paint touched up, carpet shampooed. The last few straggling items that fell into vents and behind drawers have been collected; the garage swept out. The doors are locked in our old little gray house, never again for us to enter and sigh a sigh of relief that we are home there. 63 months of our lives, that saw the joyous addition of two more precious babies to our brood...this was the only home our two youngest ever knew...and the loss of two sweet babies we never got to meet. So much of our lives happened in the five years we were there. I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed a tear over the chapter of our lives that we just closed. But as always, we're looking forward with hope to the happy years we'll have in our new home, and new memories that are already in the making. (Have I got some stories for you already!)
